The Advanced Certificate Program in Ergonomics is designed to give people working in industries focused on human–device interface and occupational health and safety expanded exposure to basic methods and processes.

In the program, students update and expand professional skills in the design and implementation of occupational safety and health programs, recognize hazards for musculoskeletal disorders, and acquire immediately applicable knowledge and skills for enhanced performance or career advancement.

This nondegree program, housed in NYU Langone Occupational and Industrial Orthopedic Center, is approved by the New York State Education Department.
