MS in Ergonomics & Biomechanics

As a student in the MS in Ergonomics and Biomechanics, you gain the analytical and basic research skills necessary for a professional career in ergonomics and biomechanics. Upon graduation, you are prepared to serve industry, labor, and government organizations; conduct research; or engage with interprofessional teams of health and safety experts. These versatile skills can be used for product design and workplace organization to alleviate risks and prevent injuries of the musculoskeletal system, as well as to optimize human performance for work and sports.

Your degree requirements culminate with a capstone experience. This entails either undertaking a thesis project (track A) or a complementary course plus a comprehensive exam (track B). You meet with your academic advisor to determine the best track based on your interests and future goals.
